A large-format printing company: wall graphics, custom printed wallpaper, advertisements and branding.
Dear Halter team,
I'm applying for the Customer Onboarding Specialist role in Boulder, and I'll tell you plainly why: I want to do real work with real people, outside, with my hands. I spent the last ten years teaching in Shenzhen, China, including six years at international schools. Before that, I spent two years running projects at Wallsome / Replica Creative in Philadelphia. It is a large-format printing company that makes wall graphics, custom printed wallpaper, advertisements and branding. My best work has always happened in person, with a crew, a customer and a deadline.
At Wallsome / Replica Creative, I was the single point of contact on more than 50 client projects. I planned each job, set the timeline, and coordinated crews of two to five designers, print production staff and installers. Then I led the installation team on site for large-format work at the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Temple University. I also led the crew that installed vinyl graphics on the air stairs for the Pope's 2015 visit to Philadelphia. We had one chance to get that right. I know how to own a project from handoff to finish and how to solve problems when the plan changes on the day.
My years in classrooms gave me the other half. For ten years I helped children learn hard things. I onboarded a new teaching assistant, helped a whole grade team adopt a new way of planning, and served as the main contact for 20–25 families a year, many across a language barrier. My method is simple: show it, keep it short, check they've got it, and come back. A rancher's time is short, so my job is to make a new system clear and quick to learn. I know how to read people, earn their trust quickly, and leave them confident to carry on by themselves.
I look forward to working with ranchers and learning alongside them in the field. My goal is to make the technology clear to people who would rather be working than reading a manual. I live in Broomfield, twenty minutes from Boulder, and time on ranches is a real draw for me.
Halter started in New Zealand. At international schools in Shenzhen, I worked alongside many colleagues from New Zealand, and I came to value their direct, practical way of working. If the role ever calls for time in Auckland, I would gladly make that trip.
I would be glad to show you what I mean in person. Thank you for your consideration.

I'm Parker May. For ten years I helped children in Shenzhen, China, learn hard things, and the last six of those years were at international schools. That work showed me how to take a complex system and break it into small, clear steps. Ranchers are busy, so that's how I would help them get started with Halter: one step at a time, out in the pasture.
Before Shenzhen, I spent two years as Project Lead and Web Manager at Wallsome / Replica Creative, a large-format printing company in Philadelphia. We made wall graphics, custom printed wallpaper, advertisements and branding. I was the single point of contact on more than 50 client projects and led the installation teams on site, including the crew that installed vinyl graphics on the air stairs for the Pope's 2015 visit.
I've practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for more than ten years and hold a brown belt. I'm still a student on the mat, and it keeps me close to what it feels like to start something new.
I look forward to learning ranch work in the field, alongside ranchers.
I built this site with AI tools. I set the goal, designed the experience and made every decision. Claude, an AI assistant, wrote much of the code, and the cattle, satellite and props come from Blender, built with Python code. Testing found a blank screen for visitors who turn off animations, and cows whose feet slid on the grass, and we fixed both. I would run a ranch launch the same way: plan it, test it, fix it and hand it over.
I hold a Master of Education and a degree in graphic design. I understand how people learn, and I know how to build clear materials such as short guides, visuals and videos. AI tools help me make those materials quickly and fit them to each ranch.
